Our piano teacher Lauren offers piano lessons in classical and pop/rock styles for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a wealth of experience with teaching, composition, and performance. Lauren has been teaching piano lessons since 1980. In her career, this piano teacher has performed as a rehearsal and show pianist for the Grand Opera House, school shows, and amateur dramatics. She has also played for restaurants, weddings, funerals, private events, and music ensembles at university, including directing her own compositions. She has arranged and taught her own versions of popular music for a choir in the mental health sector, promoting the importance of music for our wellbeing. This piano teacher has played for church services and led worship, accompanied students for exams and recitals, and accompanied various choirs. She has had her own instrumental album published by Northstar on worldwide digital platforms. Her very first orchestral composition was performed at the York Barbican and her music is known to encourage peace, relaxation, and rest to the listener. This teacher's broad, high-level experience allows her to offer engaging and inspiring piano lessons catered to each of her student’s goals and aspirations.
