Oli: Piano Teacher in NW3, London
Our piano teacher Oli offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Arts in Music and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Oli has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. Recognized as one of the most versatile artists of his generation, Oli has recently been granted a Global Talent & Exceptional Promise status from Arts Council England. He is active both as a solo pianist and a collaborative director and producer in alternative projects. This piano teacher has a rare understanding of the importance of music-making in the creation, and expression of, cultural identity. He has a natural empathy and openness for other people, which enhances and feeds his own music-making and allows him to collaborate easily and share generously. His commercially available recordings mark him out as an artist who refuses to acknowledge the cultural restraints so commonly encountered in classical music today. He has won multiple piano prizes in Taiwan and in the UK, most notably at the North London Festival and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He has appeared at the Ulverston Festival, Chipping Campden Festival, and his performance at the Beethoven festival 250 in Birmingham was broadcast by La Scala radio and Classic FM. His exceptional talent has led him to perform with conductor Daniele Rosina and the RBC Symphony Orchestra. Through collaborative performance, this piano teacher strives to discover new music, both traditional and contemporary. Oli believes that professionals are the architect of hope for the next generation, and is as passionate about teaching as he is about composition and performance. Seeing enjoyment in his students is always a great gift.
