Our piano teacher, Sharon, offers classical piano lessons for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. She has a Masters degree in Piano Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. This piano teacher was awarded in internationally recognised piano competitions including the Best Performance Prize in the 11th Zhongsin International Music Competition, and was the recipient of various scholarships throughout her studies including the Student Pro-Artist award. She enjoys performing a mix of genres and styles, including taking on roles of improvising on piano for theatre productions, and has worked with numerous bands and orchestras. As a piano accompanist, she has complemented her studies with masterclasses from Martin Katz and Julian Milford amongst others, and regularly accompanies on piano in competitions and music festivals. She has played in piano recitals curated by renowned artists such as Eugene Asti, Iain Burnside, Gordon Back, and Stephan Loges. This piano teacher is trained in child education and understands the importance of tailoring her teaching approach to the ambitions, experience, and learning styles of each piano student she teaches.
