Our piano teacher, Christine, in Todmorden offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience in both teaching and performing. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2001 privately and in schools. Christine has performed solo piano recitals at prestigious venues and events such as the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall in Montreal and the Hebden Bridge Piano Festival. She performed and hosted for the One World, One Family Symphony Concert at Toronto Centre for the Arts for Canada’s 150th anniversary. Christine improvised an original composition for the film ‘Gasp’ (2009), and also composed an original score for the short film ‘A day at the Marriott’, and for an art installation for the Zendai Himalaya Center of the Arts in Shanghai, China. Christine has a wealth of experience that allows her piano students to excel in a wide range of styles of music, through a well-rounded and fun approach to piano lessons.
