Aug 22 Alexandra: Piano Teacher in SW12, London

Our piano teacher Alexandra offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Alexandra has been teaching piano lessons since 2017. Despite having specialised in piano accompaniment, Alexandra has performed as solo pianist at prestigious venues around Cape Town that include the Endler Hall (Stellenbosch) and the Baxter Theatre (Rondebosch). In 2018, Alexandra attended the Stellenbosch International Piano Symposium, during which she received masterclasses from South Africa's most renowned piano pedagogues. Alexandra was a member of a piano trio which evolved into a piano quartet while working on her Master’s degree. Additionally, as an undergraduate she performed in a two-piano duo, four hands duo, and piano trio. Her love for chamber music has led to professional engagements in the genre, as well as participation in the Stellenbosch International Chamber Music Festival. In conjunction with her love for solo piano and chamber music, Alexandra has an even greater passion for piano accompaniment. Alexandra has accompanied students at Stellenbosch University for exams, eisteddfods, and concerts. She recently became the first and only ever collaborative pianist to win the Mabel Quick Instrumental Bursary Competition, hosted every year by the Stellenbosch Conservatoire. As a piano teacher, Alexandra ensures that each individual student's needs and wants are catered to in their lessons. She is passionate about educating students of all ages and describes her teaching style as patient, explorative, and attentive. Alexandra is accredited by the University of South Africa as a music teacher at the highest possible level.
