Our piano teacher Matti, in Lambeth, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience performing on piano. Matti has been teaching piano lessons since 2021. This piano teacher has performed classical recitals in numerous venues, including the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall at the University of Manchester, focusing on the solo piano works of Schubert and Chopin. Matti has played piano with the Manchester University Big Band, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and has toured internationally with the Wandsworth Music Academy Philharmonic Orchestra. He continues to perform in local venues with his own Blues Brothers band. At University, Matti gained experience accompanying final year vocal recitals. This piano teacher has composed for piano on several occasions, including most recently in a work for baritone, two clarinets, piano, and bass guitar, which gained him the Procter-Gregg prize for highest composition mark. He has also conducted several orchestras in competitions. This piano teacher’s experience not only in solo performance, but as a composer, conductor, and analyst, allow Matti to relate piano tuition to other areas of students' interests and studies, to encourage the full development of their musical minds.
