Feb 7 Jay: Piano Teacher in M23, Manchester, North West England

Our piano teacher Jay offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Jay has been teaching piano lessons since 2018. Jay Carroll is a Manchester-born pianist who graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied with multiple renowned musicians. He has performed throughout the UK as a solo pianist, mainly specializing in the performance of 20th century French piano music. During his time in college he won the Nossek Piano Trio Prize as a member of the Déanach Trio. His trio regularly performed in concert series throughout Manchester. Additionally, throughout his studies he was part of a piano duo. He won Best Accompanist in the Cronshaw/Brownson Song Prize 2020 and in the Courtney Kenny Song Prize 2021. He was also Assistant Music Director for the UK premiere of the cabaret "It's In the Air!" (2022). His diverse experiences in piano and music have given him a variety of knowledge that he uses to craft thoughtful lessons for his students. Jay likes to meet people wherever they are in their musical journey and works to best support them in realizing their piano potential.
