Our piano teacher Olga offers classical piano lessons for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a PhD in Music and Drama and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Olga has been teaching piano lessons since 1993. In her career, this piano teacher has performed numerous solo piano recitals at notable venues, including House of Lords, Royal Academy of Music, and the Westminster Cathedral. She has also given a number of private recitals, including for the famous Hollywood Douglas family and internationally in New Zealand, Poland, and Russia. Olga also has a great deal of collaborative experience, and has played with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Arts Symphonic Orchestra, the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth, and Olga Thomas’ Orchestra. In addition to performing, she also composes for various chamber ensembles, regularly being recorded for and playing live on BBC. Olga is an award winning and chart topping world-renowned classical composer and a concert pianist known for composing musical gifts for the Royal Household. She has had four No.1 singles in the Official Classical iTunes chart, as well as many other top ten releases. She was privileged to present a CD of her compositions to Her Majesty The Queen at a special reception held at St James’s Palace. She is the winner of Future Classic Women Award in the Classical Crossover category from Women Radio Station and the Winner of Best Classical Composer Award from Regents Music Society. This piano teacher is a sought-after piano accompanist for instrumentalists, vocalists, choirs and students for exams. Olga is also Visiting Professor of Composition at London Performing Academy of Music. Her students and her teaching methods were featured in a BBC program in relation to successful passing of ABRSM exams, called ‘Making the Grade.’ She holds a multitude of musical credentials, with extensive training in classical and contemporary piano techniques.
