Our piano teacher Andy offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Andy has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. In his career, this piano teacher has played in numerous solo recitals across Australia, China, Europe, and the United States. He has performed at notable venues such as Manuel de Fella Auditorium in Spain, St. Columb’s Hall in Ireland, Sydney Opera House, Royal Northern College of Music, and Verbrugghen Hall at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has also performed in concerts around the United Kingdom, including Cleveland Classical and Shrewsbury Choir Society, as well as the opening gala concert for Sydney Master Music Studio. Andy has also hosted his own concert series titled “Sound and Soul,” presenting immersive programs in Sydney venues. He has also performed with orchestras and notable conductors, including the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra and the Modern Music Ensemble and Wind Symphony. Andy is also a talented accompanist, and has performed with musicians for exams, recording projects, masterclasses, and conservatoire students. He is also the appointed accompanist in residence at Merchant Taylors’ School. He is passionate about learning and sharing music, and has studied with many of the world’s leading pianists, delivered masterclasses and lectures, mentored young teachers, and promoted music to the general public. As a music educator, his students have participated in concerts such as the Young Maestro’s Gala, performed in prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House, and continued on to advanced music programs and degrees. Andy’s experience as a performer and educator allow him to teach piano with professionalism and explore the joy and beauty of music, making it an integral and approachable part of students’ lives.
