Our piano teacher Georgie, in Isleworth, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Georgie has been teaching piano lessons since 2018. Georgie has performed as a solo pianist in a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary music. They have also worked extensively as solo jazz pianist, performing in Royal Holloway's Picture Gallery and the Temperate House at Kew Gardens. Georgie works primarily as a group performer, having played piano for Royal Holloway's Symphony Orchestra and leading Royal Holloway's Big Band and the Lavender Big Band. They are also the keyboardist for the London-based funk band SCARBO and were part of the Egham-based jazz combo The Engineers, who performed extensively around Egham and Windsor. Georgie has also accompanied a range of recitals and performances. Having been in high-demand as student accompanist at Royal Holloway, they helped peers to achieve Grade 8 singing, high-marks in final year recitals, and have accompanied a range of musical theatre projects. They also worked with Manchester Contemporary Youth Opera in a composition and performance of a 15-minute opera. Their biggest achievement is accompanying seven singers on solo piano in a string of performances of Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti. With a focus on technique, Georgie equips students with the skills to quickly learn piano and achieve their music goals.
