Our piano teacher Haoyuan, in City Centre, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Haoyuan has been teaching piano lessons since 2019. In his career, he has performed as a solo pianist in a range of concert settings, including appearances at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s Bradshaw Hall and the Elgar Concert Hall, Bramall Music Building. His performances include lecture recitals and solo programmes exploring a variety of repertoire, demonstrating both technical command and musical sensitivity. In addition to formal concerts, he regularly performs for smaller events and informal settings. Haoyuan has been recognized in national and regional competitions in China, including First Prize in the National Vocational Schools Talent Competition and First Prize in Instrumental Performance at the Jiangsu Vocational College Skills Competition. He has extensive experience performing as a pianist within ensembles, including collaborations with choirs and orchestras, such as the University of Birmingham orchestra. Through this work, he has developed strong ensemble awareness, refined listening skills, and the ability to support conductors and fellow musicians in performances. Haoyuan is an experienced piano accompanist, regularly working with instrumentalists and singers in both educational and performance contexts for lessons, rehearsals, and informal performances. Alongside his performance and accompaniment work, he has formally studied music history, developing strong analytical skills that inform his teaching. During his teaching placement at Plantsbrook School, he was recognized by colleagues for his professionalism, reliability, and strong potential as an educator. Haoyuan delivers structured, engaging, and supportive piano lessons, combining strong technical foundations with a clear focus on musical understanding and long-term student development.
