Jul 9 Cerys: Piano Teacher in SK6, Manchester, North West England

Our piano teacher Cerys offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Cerys has been teaching piano lessons since 2020. During her formal music education, she specialized in piano performance. Significant achievements and experiences have marked Cerys' journey in music. She was awarded an honors Bachelor of Music degree before completing her Master of Music degree. Most recently, Cerys was awarded 100% funding to study for a PhD in Music. Her extensive music career has led her to be proficient in a number of instruments, as well as conducting, reading music, and music theory. She was also recognized for her talent on the organ, receiving a scholarship from Salford Cathedral, and now holding a regular position accompanying mass services. She is a skilled solo pianist, performing for weddings, private events, and at hotel bars. Cerys was also a cocktail pianist for a café bar in Manchester. In addition to piano performance, Cerys is a competent piano accompanist. Her ability to comfortably sight-read has developed from numerous years of congregation performances, allowing her to now support choirs and soloists for performances. Cerys’ career now is a mixture of music teaching, researching, and performing— all of which she is very passionate about. From beginners to advanced learners, she brings the joy of music into every lesson. Whether it's preparing for exams or simply enjoying the process, Cerys' piano lessons are always fun, relevant, and engaging.
