Our piano teacher James, in Eastville, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. James has been teaching piano lessons since 2013. During his time as a musician, James has performed recitals as a solo pianist in various concert halls across the UK. He has played at the Bristol Beacon, Bristol Hippodrome, and many other venues, which includes performing his own music as well as classical, jazz, pop, and rock music. James has also performed at weddings as both an accompanist and soloist. He is also a skilled collaborative musician, who has performed and lead ensembles of a variety of styles, played in bands which have toured across the UK, and worked alongside orchestras. Alongside teaching, James has worked as an accompanist for choirs of singers of all ages, accompanied students taking grade exams, and has played numerous concerts supporting vocalists and other musicians. James has composed his own music which has been released on multiple streaming platforms. He is now studying for a Master of Music Education degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. James's varied and thorough knowledge of piano instruction and repertoire, combined with his genuine love for music and enthusiasm is reflected in his teaching, and he aims to inspire and build his students’ piano skills through a unique and passionate teaching style.
