Our piano teacher Jungmin, in Greengate, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Jungmin has been teaching piano lessons since 2019. As a solo pianist, Jungmin has performed extensively internationally, including in South Korea and Europe. He has given numerous recitals in a wide repertoire, and his performances have been praised for their emotional depth, clarity of structure, and refined touch. He has received over 15 first prizes and more than 10 additional awards in national and international piano competitions. Jungmin is also an accomplished chamber musician and collaborative pianist. He has frequently performed as a concerto soloist and with a wide range of instrumentalists. His chamber music performances are marked by sensitive ensemble playing, refined musical dialogue, and stylistic versatility. Jungmin is also a highly experienced piano accompanist, having worked with a wide range of instrumentalists and vocalists. Jungmin had an unusually late start for a professional pianist, and his rapid growth is a powerful example for his students that consistent effort and determination can lead to excellence, regardless of when one begins. Jungmin is passionate about teaching and mentoring young musicians. He strives to guide students not only in developing strong technical foundations, but also in discovering their own musical voices. Jungmin believes in guiding his piano students with patience and encouragement, helping them grow both as musicians and confident individuals.
