Our piano teacher Elizabeth offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 4 and above, for beginners only. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Arts in Actor Musicianship degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Elizabeth has been teaching piano lessons since 2025. She is passionate about empowering young people through creative expression and has worked extensively across a range of educational settings, including Totally RAD Music School, Jigsaw Performing Arts, PQA, and Southbury Primary School. Her teaching practice focuses on building confidence, creativity, and collaboration. Whether delivering individual lessons or leading curriculum-based classroom sessions, Elizabeth supports children of all ages in developing their musicality, vocal technique, and stage presence. She draws on a deep affinity for soul, blues, and 70s/80s pop, helping students move beyond the page to master rhythmic groove. Elizabeth introduces basic stylistic improvisation, encouraging students to find their own creative voice within the genres they love. She also teaches pupils how to unlock the keyboard by ear, helping them understand how chords and harmonies fit together instinctively—a vital skill for any modern musician or aspiring performer. A versatile musician and actor, Elizabeth is proficient in voice, drums, saxophone, and keyboard. She has trained at leading institutions and served as musical director in professional music settings. She recently debuted as Female Swing in Stick Man Live at the Bloomsbury Theatre—a production that perfectly combined her love for performance with her passion for inspiring children through live theatre.
