Jan 14 Katherine: Piano Teacher in NW10, London

Our piano teacher Katherine offers classical piano lessons for ages 7 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Master of Science in Performance Science and a wealth of experience as a teacher, accompanist, and music director. Katherine has been teaching piano lessons since 1998. In her varied musical career, she has drawn from her classical piano background to perform in actor-musician roles requiring a professional level of piano proficiency, from concerts to cabarets to musical theatre productions, across the U.S. and internationally. As a music director and piano conductor, she has led pit bands for regional musical theatre productions for both professional and academic institutions. This piano teacher has accompanied singers and instrumentalists in lessons, auditions, exams, and recitals. She has performed as a pianist, singer, and actor on concert and theatre stages in the U.S. and internationally. Following her recent MSc studies, she is exploring the impact of the performing arts in community engagement applications and in the field of health and wellbeing. Katherine's breadth of musical skills and experience combine with her natural joy and compassion to facilitate her holistic approach to teaching. She is dedicated to providing a solid musical foundation while also tending to students' specific goals and performance concerns, all with a sense of playful exploration.
