Sep 20 Toby: Piano Teacher in SE7, London

Our piano teacher Toby offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Toby has been teaching piano lessons since 2019. In his career, Toby has performed at numerous piano recitals and competitions in and around the South West of England, where he was raised. A proficient composer, he has also written and performed his own music and arrangements for the teaching staff of the Royal Academy of Music. He has performed as part of musical groups involved with theatre and has devised original piano music for a new play. He then performed this music, live on stage at the Bristol Old Vic theatre for sold-out audiences. He has also written jazz arrangements for piano and trombone under the tutelage of British jazz icon, Nikki Iles. Toby has had the opportunity to produce tracks for independent artists' promotional videos, composing material from the keyboard and performing it for the soundtrack. He has worked extensively with jazz singers, accompanying them and helping them memorize and learn new repertoire. Toby sings and accompanies himself, and continues to nurture this skill. This piano teacher’s high level of skill and experience at the piano makes him an outstanding teacher with much to offer his students. Whether classical or jazz, Toby will be able to offer exactly what each pupil needs and will use his knowledge to support them in every way.
