Our piano teacher Yuzhang, in Marylebone, offers classical piano lessons for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Yuzhang has been teaching piano lessons since 2017. In her career, she has gained recognition on the international stage at prestigious competitions, including semi-finalist in the Leeds International Piano Competition, first prize at the Futian Cup Piano Competition, top honors at the Steinway Piano Competition, and the Special Performance Award at the Wiesbaden International Piano Competition. Her performances have earned worldwide praise, celebrated for deep musicality beyond her years. She has played at many famous venues in the United Kingdom, such as Wigmore Hall, King’s Palace, Steinway Hall, and the Royal Academy of Music. Yuzhang has also performed extensively across Europe and Asia in notable venues, including Bechstein KONZERTFLÜGEL in Germany, Yongsan Concert Hall in South Korea, Central Conservatory in China. Her performance talent is supported by a success music education, during which she received many scholarships and awards, such as the China National Scholarship, a full scholarship— and later the highest performance honor— at the Royal Academy of Music, and selection as a Tillett Artist. This piano teacher is also a passionate collaborator, and has performed with many ensembles such as Schubert’s Trout Quintet, the European Chamber Orchestra, and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her successful piano performance career, Yuzhang is a committed educator with extensive teaching experience in both the U.K. and China. She has taught students up to the conservatory level, helping them earn excellent results in ABRSM exams, competitions, and conservatory acceptance. She also co-founded the ‘LINGYUE’ 100-Days Project, an innovative classical music education initiative combining podcasts and live lectures, praised for its engaging and accessible approach.
