Our piano teacher Kemal, in Hackney, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Kemal has been teaching piano lessons since 2009. In his career, this piano teacher has performed in a variety of settings, including with the London Graduate Orchestra and improvised sets with River Music. He has also played at a number of music festivals, such as the Cheltenham International Music Festival, the Norfolk and Norwich Festival, and Non-Classical. He plays with a variety of jazz ensembles, including big bands and trios. Kemal also has extensive experience as a ballet accompanist, playing for classes for the English National Ballet, the Wayne MacGregor Dance Company, and the Royal Ballet. Kemal is a talented composer that has composed several solo and collaborative piano works that have been distributed globally. As a composer, he has worked with the BBC Singers, Fidelio Trio, BBC Concert Orchestra, Carducci Quartet, English Touring Opera, and National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain, among numerous others. In his career, Kemal has also worked as an educational consultant for ABRSM, where he designed a primary school music curriculum distributed to 10,000 primary school teachers, and recently completed a set of nine study guides for the Piano 2027 syllabus. He has taught in schools through Kuumba Youth Music and London Music Masters and worked as a permanent staff member at the Junior Royal Academy of Music for eight years. In his teaching, this piano teacher draws on a high level of professional experience across performance, composition, conservatoire training, and national curriculum development.
