Our piano teacher Radu, in Hornsey, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Radu has been teaching piano lessons since 2020. Radu has extensive experience performing as a solo pianist in recitals and concerts across the United Kingdom and Europe. He has performed at prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Cadogan Hall, the Romanian Athenaeum, Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, and the Austrian Cultural Forum. He has also been invited to perform at venues in France, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Radu is a C. Bechstein Scholar and was awarded the LSO Conservatoire Scholarship while studying for his graduate degree at the Royal College of Music in London. He has won numerous national and international piano competitions, including First Prize in the Joan Chissell Schumann Piano Competition, First Prize at the Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Bacău, and First Prize in the Norah Sande Award Piano Competition. Radu has extensive experience performing with orchestras in concert settings around Europe, including with the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra, and YMSO. He also has experience performing chamber music and working closely with instrumentalists and ensembles. Radu’s extensive performance experience has developed his ability to listen attentively, communicate musically with other performers, and adapt sensitively to different musical partners. This piano teacher been teaching piano to students of different ages and levels for many years, combining his performance experience with a patient, encouraging, and individualized approach to piano. Radu helps each piano student to develop their technique, musical understanding, and confidence.
