Our piano teacher in Royal Docks, Michael, offers classical piano lessons for ages 12 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Arts in Music degree, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Michael has been teaching piano lessons since 2011. He has performed extensively on piano throughout the world from an early age, giving his first public piano recital in Oxford at the age of 7. This piano teacher regularly performs with chamber ensembles, particularly piano trios, as well as with orchestras with a wide variety of piano concerto repertoire. Much of Michael's experience stems from work as a piano accompanist and répétiteur for operatic and musical theatre productions. Most recently, he was Music Director for a production of Bernstein's West Side Story at The Savoy in London. This piano teacher also works as an orchestral conductor, and recently conducted a program of Brahms and Beethoven with the West London Sinfonia. Michael's wide-ranging musical experience and knowledge offer a unique opportunity for students to learn piano from a professional with a broad perspective on music through the lens of a pianist, conductor, and musical director.
