Jan 12 Kye: Piano Teacher in SE5, London

Our piano teacher Kye offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 12 and above, from beginner to intermediate. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience in piano, musical theory, and harmony, in both the performing and songwriting realms. Kye has been teaching piano lessons since 2022. One of his favorite large-scale performances was with an ensemble consisting of a string section, rhythm section, jazz vocalist, and his own talents on the piano at The Reid Concert Hall in Edinburgh. The ensemble performed a program of contemporary pop and soul music, in addition to original material arranged by Kye himself. As a result of his experience working with a variety of musical groups and bands, Kye has a varied catalogue of performance experience across the rock and pop spectrum. His composition and music production work has also led him to work with various theatre groups across the UK, The Netherlands and The Gambia as a sound designer, technician, and composer. In addition to his teaching and compositional work, Kye is also an avid radio broadcaster with a long list of credits, working with stations such as NTS and EHFM at venues including The Royal Albert Hall and Southbank Sinfonia. His infectious enthusiasm for all things harmony and piano makes for an engaging and attentive teacher. Kye’s personable and welcoming attitude makes for a great fit for a wide variety of skill levels, with a focus on what each student wishes to achieve on the piano from their time together.
