Our piano teacher Marilyn offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Marilyn has been teaching piano lessons since 1987. While pursuing her music degree, this piano teacher played regularly in performance seminars and masterclasses. She has since given piano recitals in a variety of professional and informal contexts, such as events and festivals, including a number of performances at the North London Festival of Music. She has also played in recitals for charity and community events, including for a charity for the deaf and at the West London Buddhist Centre. As a talented composer, many of Marilyn's performances have included her original piano works. For her piano composition skills, she was invited to a residency at the Visby International Centre for Composers in Sweden. As a piano teacher, she is committed to student growth and draws on her many years of diverse music experience. Marilyn adapts her approach to piano lessons to the needs of each student, and conveys her passion for the piano to help them to develop their own.
