Our piano teacher Antoniu offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Antoniu has been teaching piano lessons since 2018. Antoniu is an internationally experienced classical pianist who has performed extensively as a soloist around the world. His performances have taken place in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Cortot in Paris, the Romanian Athenaeum and Radio Hall in Bucharest, and the Kawai Omotesando Hall in Tokyo, among many others. He has received numerous prizes at international piano competitions throughout his career, such as First Prize at the Côte d’Azur International Piano Competition, Grand Prize at the Sabin Păuța International Competition, First Prize at the Città di San Donà di Piave International Piano Competition, and First Prize at the Leopold Bellan International Music Competition in Paris. These achievements have given him an understanding of the preparation, discipline, and musical development required for professional piano playing. Antoniu has a great deal of experience performing as a soloist with professional orchestras and symphony ensembles in Romania and abroad, including performances with the Sibiu Philharmonic, Romanian Radio National Orchestra, Târgu Mureș Philharmonic, Transylvanian Symphony Orchestra, and the Romanian National Symphony Orchestra. These engagements have provided him with experience developing strong communication, ensemble, and performance skills. Antoniu has also worked as a chamber musician and accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists, developing skills in supporting and responding to other musicians. Antoniu combines extensive professional performance experience with a personalized and encouraging teaching approach, helping students develop strong technical foundations, musical confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of playing the piano at every level.
